Somehow, I’ve managed to get away without decorating easter eggs for the past 6 years. But this year, my daughter’s godmother sent her the cutest easter egg decorating kit from William Sonoma, so there was no escaping.
The kit came with dye, markers, stickers, wrappers, googly eyes and few other decorations.
I got a basket from Dollar Tree and some grass from Michael’s.
Since I didn’t have glass bowls deep enough to cover the eggs, I used glass mugs.
Journey carefully dipped the eggs. It wasn’t as messy as I thought it would be.
The colored eggs.
They came out a bit speckled. I think it was from the air bubbles in the pot they were cooled in. Maybe next time I should dry them before we dip.
Time to decorate!
