Eat & Tell: Gluten-Free Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

pumpkin choc chip cookies1

It seems that I’m starting to love pumpkin just as much as I do sweet potatoes.  Lately, I’ve been adding it to everything—including chocolate chip cookies.  I’m not sure why I decided to make them gluten-free.  I guess I was just curious about whether gluten-free baked goods could be as tasty as those that contain gluten.  And based on this cookie recipe, they absolutely can!  Continue reading

Eat & Tell: Spring Cupcakes

Spring has finally sprung and I decided to celebrate with these adorable lemon cupcakes! The tree outside my kitchen window inspired the bird’s nest. Eat & Tell: My Cupcake Obsession

IMG_3311After my life changing experience at Magnolia Bakery, I fell in love with cupcakes.  Not just the taste, but the experience I have when eating one.  I love how the sweet smell of sugar wafts up my nose and my lips get lost in the icing with each bite.  I love how the moist cake melts when it meets my tongue.  I love when I put just the right amount of batter in the cupcake liner so that it bakes just right up to the edge.  Then adding the perfect amount of icing so that I get equal amounts of icing and cake with each bite.  Cupcakes have become my guilty pleasure and my latest obsession. Honey Apple Pie
